GARE Data and Insights Manager

Chanier serves as the GARE Data and Insights Manager dedicated to using the power of data analytics to help make a lasting impact on advancing racial equity.
Chanier has worked within local government for more than 5 years, most recently with the City of Alexandria as the Lead Homeless Management Information System Administrator, where she was able to use data analytics and racial equity to help lead in the dismantling of racial inequities within homeless services through the Office of Community Services. During her time with the city, she became an inaugural member in the city’s first Racial Equity Core team, within the Department of Community and Human Services, which follows the GARE model of advancing racial equity.
Chanier is a graduate of George Mason University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Consulting. Born and raised in Virginia, she enjoys expressing her creativity in a multitude of ways and considers it an amazing opportunity to be able to use her voice.
