Tiff Joy is a Queer Nuyorican from the South Bronx with a lifetime of dedication to fighting for education, racial, queer/trans, reproductive, immigration and environmental justice. Tiff Joy grew up in a public housing project within a community labeled “the toxic triangle” (due to its poor air quality and high asthma rates), only blocks away from the vicious shooting of Amadou Diallo and in one of the poorest school districts in the city.

Nurtured early on by grassroots organizers and radical community leaders, TJ harnessed a deep value of youth and adult allyship in action based organizing and policy work. With a passion for facilitation, curriculum development and program management, Tiff Joy has supported dozens of organizations (and schools) to create radical community based programs and pipelines specifically tailored toward the intentional leadership development of Black and Brown young people.
