Yolanda Burckhardt

As GARE’s Strategic Content Program Manager, Yolanda (she/her) supports GARE’s work to co-create robust transformative innovations toward advancing racial equity in government.

Before joining GARE, Yolanda led policy advocacy, education, and public engagement efforts across LGBTQ+ and reproductive justice projects and coalitions in the Twin Cities. Previously, Yolanda worked for various local government agencies in Minnesota, including the Metropolitan Council, where she coordinated community engagement and racial justice strategic planning efforts.

Yolanda received her Bachelor’s in Social Psychology from Macalester College and a Master’s in Human Rights from the University of Minnesota. Yolanda currently lives in Minneapolis.
